Terms of Service
Last updated: March 16, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Enclave ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Enclave provides a privacy-focused storage platform with two vaults: Memories (photo storage powered by Immich) and Workspace (file storage powered by oCIS). Access is managed through a unified identity system.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
Enclave offers subscription plans with varying storage quotas. Payments are processed through PayPal. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges according to your chosen plan. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your billing settings.
Plan changes take effect immediately. If you downgrade, your storage quota will be adjusted at the end of the current billing cycle. If your usage exceeds your new quota, you may need to reduce your stored data.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Store or distribute illegal content
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service infrastructure
- Resell or redistribute access to the Service without authorization
6. Your Content
You retain full ownership of all content you upload to Enclave. We do not claim any rights to your content. We do not access, scan, index, or analyze your content except as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., generating photo thumbnails).
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Enclave shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be retained for a reasonable grace period before permanent deletion.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
